Moorestown Rotary - A Message from the Club President

It is my pleasure to be serving as president of the Moorestown Rotary Club for the year 2009-2010. Our organization has been providing services to this community for more than 80 years.

Our work in the community is really quite varied. We work with youth through the provision of scholarships and provide leadership training opportunities. Our Lend-A-Hand committee supports service programs throughout the year, including clothing and food drives.

We also support various charitable organizations that provide needed services to the less fortunate in our area.

A unique aspect of Rotary is that our club is part of Rotary International. Across the globe, there are more than 1.2 million members of Rotary, in more than 160 countries. This allows all Rotary clubs to work together on large international projects, such as the elimination of polio.
